BAME in Hospitality is a support network to the BAME community within hospitality, or education. We support through inspiring, empowering and creating connections.
We use the data that we collect for communication purposes only, and by doing so we will:
- Ensure that your data is kept safe, securely and private.
- We will not share your data with any third-party organisation without your consent.
- Give you the option to review your marketing choices.
As a membership network, we use and manage member data for communication purposes including membership services, payment, newsletters, blog posts, surveys, and research.
If you purchase a ticket to an event from us, we will collect the necessary data for that booking. All appropriate information relating to that transaction will be specified, at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will process your data.
Access to data
The following will have access to your data only:
- Employees of BAME in hospitality, who are involved in issuing communications.
- Third-party contractors of BAME in Hospitality such as newsletter/marketing services.
Any third-party contractor will be vetted to ensure that they are fully adherent to GDPR.
Your data is your membership record, and if you decide to cease membership, we will store your data for a further 12 months, after this time the data will be destroyed.
