In celebration of Black History Month, join us for a two-part series ‘Black in Hospitality’, where we will be joined by inspirational leaders and role models who have carved out successful careers within hospitality, food and drink.

The panel will be sharing how heritage affected their career choices, lessons learnt and mindsets adopted to move forward and upward within their careers. The 45 -minute panel discussion will be followed by a 10 minute Q&A.

Robert & Michelle Sullivan, Aberdeenshire based farmers specialising in microgreens and edible flowers, and who was recently featured in a Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z music video.

Lerato Umah –Shaylor, a cookery writer, teacher, tv presenter and founder of Lerato Foods & Naturals.

Riaz Phillips, author of books ‘Belly Full’ and ‘Community Comfort’, which has raised in excess of £40,000 for UK BAME Covid-19 victims.

Marverine Cole, is an accredited beer sommelier, award-winning journalist and broadcaster. She is a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers, and contributes to BBC good food or on television discussing beer.
